What does OBS offer the new rider?
The OBS Donut Ride
New riders are encouraged to try out the OBS Donut Ride. It occurs each Saturday at 9:00 am at Will Rogers Park - NW 36th and Portland, near the tennis courts.
Ride leaders will lead you and your guests on a 13 mile ride. The leader will stay with you, no matter how slow you might need to ride. The route goes 6.5 miles, traveling from the park through historical neighborhoods and the unique "Carey Place" area. We end up at Browns Bakery at NW 10th and Walker, where we will stop for donuts and conversation.
Then we will follow the same route back to Will Rogers Park, arriving at about 11:15 am
This service is provided by OBS volunteers, but you do not have be a member of OBS to participate. However we hope that you will enjoy the ride and learn about the other benefits and will want to join OBS.
