It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the sudden passing of our Oklahoma Bicycle Society (OBS) President, Ron Holt, on April 13. After serving as Vice President of OBS in 2019, Ron energetically assumed the leadership position in 2020, and was in the process of moving the organization to new heights with several initiatives. Ron left us doing what he loved the most. He enthusiastically rode his bike on that last day, and was even approving requests to join the OBS Facebook Group before turning to bed that night. Ron failed to wake up from his sleep. We will share more as we get additional information. At this time, we ask that we limit contacts with the family and honor the family’s request for privacy.
Ron’s parting leaves a huge hole and it will be tough getting through the year without his leadership. But we are committed to support and continue his legacy. Please keep his wife Stephanie and his two children in your thoughts and prayers. Feel free to leave comments sharing your best memories of Ron.
